Absolutely blown away by the performance of this old CPU, currently have mine overclocked to 4.5GHz with a 120mm AIO. Maxes out at 52 deg. And doesn't lag behind friends Ryzen systems. Awesome used find.

Have it is acceptable but slower than cheaper ryzen options so don't bother anymore unless its free or very discounted

Build a decktop to match the power of my burnt gaming laptop. overclocks higher than snoopdog, runs at 4.75ghz with good cooler 62c max (amd says 61 max temp, but didnt stay under that even with stock cooler and stock clocks. and thermal shutoff is around 85 so its fine). runs all games i play at 60fps, runs cod warzone on low mediaum settings 60-75, vsync to 60 and youll have solid 60fps experience. got it for free with good mobo so no complaints. will prolly play tripple A games for year or two on 60fps 1080p low settings... then youll just cap it at 30fps and make custom refresh rate profile and and it goes 2 more years of tripple A gaming on smooth 30fps :D If you get this free or dirt cheap, sure go for it. if not, buy ryzen.

Excellent

Held up well for nearly a decade, still play runs newest games at lower presets. Runs cool and overclocks well
