Work pc got upgraded to one of these from an i5 4460. Noticable inprovement in adobe illustrator and Photoshop. Snappier response from windows as well. Overall great productivity improvement, probably games decently well.

Perfect gaming cpu for budget builds :D

It is only 1% better than a i7-7700.

Very good cpu.. single core performance is amazing but multicore performance is worse than ryzen 1600x

Terrible

For the price you pay, you get a little more than you expect. Sure you can't OC but if you want to OC throw in another $20 and you can get the 7600k, but you don't even need to OC as the CPU is already really good. Overall for the performance you get, the price is really good and you won't need an upgrade for at least 3-4 years.

Please do yourself a favor, and spend the extra money on the K (OCable) version. It's so much better. That aside, the value isn't that horrible.

low perfomance for that price

Doesn't offer enough value over the i5-7500 to be able to recommend it.
