Work pc got upgraded to one of these from an i5 4460. Noticable inprovement in adobe illustrator and Photoshop. Snappier response from windows as well. Overall great productivity improvement, probably games decently well.

Please do yourself a favor, and spend the extra money on the K (OCable) version. It's so much better. That aside, the value isn't that horrible.
