it is still a very capable cpu, from gaming to editing and even some server work, been running it for a while on my server and it has been really fast and reliable, not a single issue with it, really good performance/dollar ratio, although a i7 5700 is a better choice, i think, you can get them cheaper but it's a little bit harder to find tho.

It's not that expensive, and it's doing its job well! Sure the i5 6600k may be better. But more expensive. so if you are trying to save money but don't want a pc that can't do anything, buy this processor. (Or anything else, i just prefer this,)
