Average Bench: 58.5% (621st of 1459)

Based on 106,454 user benchmarks.  Device: 178BFBFF00600F20 Model: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor

The AMD FX-8320 has the same architecture and specs as the FX-8350, the only difference being the base/turbo clocks of 3.5/4.0 GHz for the 8320 vs 4.0/4.2 GHz for the 8350. Comparing the two models shows that the 8320 lags the 8350 at stock speeds by around 10% but broadly matches it when both processors are overclocked. This combined with the 8320's considerably lower price tag makes the 8320 the better value proposition. In terms of outright performance, as with all AMD CPUs, the FX series have very strong multi-core performance but lag Intel considerably in terms of single and dual-core throughput. [Mar '14 CPUPro]

it's been chugging along OC at 3.9 for 8 years, and can pretty much handle anything out there within reasonable expectations for fps. super easy to overclock, and customize your setup, and cheap as dirt.

System runs very well. Not as fast as higher end Intel, but great value for all around CPU.—Dec '14

Really good for low budget PC's, you can feel that the CPU isn't the newest but for the price ist still handels even modern games very well. Also a lot of potential for overclocking.

The FX-8320 is a very cheap and performant CPU. It's also a great way to get into PC gaming. Personally I use this to play lighter games like GTA 5 or CS:GO but nonetheless it's a great choice for people that don't have much money and want something that's similar in performance to an i5 3470 or even an i5 4460. It goes well with an R9 270X / 290 or a GTX 960 / 1050 Ti you could also pair it with a GTX 1060.

Powerful, but surpassed now. Only get it if you can have it at a dead cheap price. Great OC potential.

Literally had for almost five years and this thing ran like a beast. If you're looking for a CPU for a budget build, the FX 8320 will do. But here's the catch: the AMD FX 8350 beats this processor in every way imaginable. The AMD FX 8350 does not only outperform the 8320, but it is also as well cheaper, which makes the 8320 obsolete.

easy oc and efficient. I over clocked it at 4.8ghz at min 1.3125v & max1.55v but seems to stick at 1.3125v temps hitting 60c-70c at 100% load but 45c-48c at idel i know a little hot but thats ok with a 4.8ghz oc. i got the 100% in the benchmark compared to other users with this cpu on here. overall i am happy. i apologize for the poor grammar from being lazy. lol

Very old, but still does the job when OC'ed. However, my motherboard VRM is struggling a bit... with the current levels required.
