Good performance. Better than my old fx8350

A great budget CPU, but the locked version (without the ability to overclock) will struggle on some modern games, particularly as devs seem to care less about optimisation these days.

Ah yes, the good old i5-3570... One of the most popular higher-end office CPUs. Despite its age (around 7 years old!) still performs perfectly. No bottlenecks on mid-range cards, and still perfect for gaming! It had/has a great value for money, and perfect for beginner, or even mid-range gamers! My advice: Dont throw it out just cause you want a Ryzen. This gem still beats the Ryzen 3/5 series 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd generation if it comes to FPS and gaming. Though not that good for creators, because it has only 4 cores. So if you want to game, and got an office PC, dont throw this CPU out or sell it!—Mar '21

Really great cpu, it bottlenecks 1660ti 6gb but work great as expected by the 3rd gen cpu.

Upgrading to this from my 7 year old G2020. Got it used from Lazada Philippines, but heck, it's a huge 76% discount from it's original price and I didn't want to buy a brand new Mobo, RAM, and CPU just yet just to get the same-ish increase in speed (if I got the Ryzen 3 3100). Fellow Filipinos, if you're in the same situation like me, this one's a steal!

I'm still using it in 2024, without any problem. It is still very good for play many games and run large softwares. But if you use powerful graphics card, this cannot be recommended. Specially graphics cards with more than 2gb vram cards, this processor is trying to become bottleneck with that. But otherwise, with a graphics card like Gtx 760 2gb for example, this processor works great. And is comparatively cheaper than other processors in the market.
