Not worth the money unless it's a small build. Handles regular CPU overclocking well. It proves itself with the 3 years I have been pushing it.

AMD is the best brand for every gaming

Ryzen 3 2200G, isn't OC locked, includes an RX Vega 8 that is one of the best integrated GPU to date and the CPU itself is comparable to an i3 8100, not mentioning that can be supported also by older motherboards with a BIOS update (allowing to safe money also motherboard side), all this makes this APU definitely the best option for low budget configurations.

Cheap, low-budget gaming without having to buy a graphics card

A good option from AMD when you are in a tight budget, far better than Intel's counterparts.

I have a Ryzen 3 2200G. I personally use a GTX 1050 Ti which is a great combo. No bottleneck, but keep note you can use a GTX 1070 with no bottleneck as well. I play CPU intensive games yet there is no problem.

Quite an upgrade from a very very slow and poor Pentium N3540 cpu. Great for gaming on a budget, and the socket it is on - AM4 - has a long upgrade path! The next upgrade for this cpu would probably be a Ryzen 7 2700, 2700x, or 3700. Have this OC'd to 3.95 GHz and I love it.

Still best bugget CPU (Thamks to Vega 8) :)

Good entry point into PC gaming! run off the igpu for awhile then buy a rx 580 or something similar. For what it is, excellent!

A very good deal for those looking to buy an entry level pc. It is adequate for most tasks, however, the 4c/4t can be a slight hinderance to multitasking at times. Overall, for the price, it offers unparalleled value being an APU with decent onboard graphics.

It wasn't that much faster then Ryzen 3 1200 in my opinion, but it WAS faster still. You can get it cheaper then the 1200 in my country at least. Overclocked nicely with the stock cooler and there wasn't any issues installing the CPU to the motherboard.

Very under-priced CPU. Vega 8 iGPU is still much better than Intel. Beats anything else at this price-point.

Amazing cpu you can play games without gpu

Terrific all rounder for 90% of users. There are better workstation processors out there, but most people don't need more than the 2200G for their day to day tasks.

Best entry-level processor. I'd never imagine a $110 CPU would be able to run modern titles on high quality with only its integrated graphics.

When I built my PC in 2019 on a very thin budget this was an amazing CPU. 5 stars. But now that it is older I cannot recommend it. Now, it can't even run the new Battlefield or Windows 11. It was amazing for what it could do, the IGPU was powerful, but if you can afford any better CPU then do not buy this, it is very weak now and if you plan to add a GPU then the R3 2200Gs integrated graphics are utterly useless.

This is a great APU. For the ~$100 I paid for it and it's unlocked overclock ability, there is NO way anyone should ever consider wasting money on something like an Intel i3-9100F, which will never perform as well as this processor especially when paired with some XMP enabled dual channel RAM like the Corsair 3200MHz 16GB kit I use with this. I would highly recommend this or the updated 3200G version if your doing a budget gaming rig.
