It's by far the best laptop CPU I've had. After being stuck with years of Intel milking slow and useless dual cores in this space, having the option for a proper 8 core CPU within a ultrabook sized laptop, it just feels amazing, AMD really showed us just how lazy Intel has been over the last 8+ years. And it's not even the best laptop CPU available from AMD.

Given that the cooling of the laptop is sufficient, the TDP of the processor can be increased with Ryzen Controller version 2.2.1. This results in higher sustained clock speeds and better performance.
