Average Bench: 79.8% (255th of 1463)

Based on 34,039 user benchmarks.  Devices: BFEBFBFF000306F2, , 0000000000000000, 0F8BFBFF000306F2, 1F8BFBFF000306F2 Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5930K CPU @ 3.50GHz

The Intel 5930K is Intel's new middle tier Haswell-E prosumer CPU. This model has base/turbo clocks of 3.5/3.7 GHz and sports 6 physical cores with 12 hyperthreads. The 5930K offers enormous processing throughput but like its Haswell-E siblings it lacks in single and dual-core speed. Comparing the 5930K and 4790K shows that the 4790K offers nearly 20% more single and dual core throughput and is priced nearly 40% lower than the 5930K. The 5930K does win hands down on multi-core workloads but these are not generally relevant to consumers. Finally since the Haswell-E architecture is coupled with the X99 chipset it requires far more expensive DDR4 RAM with offers little upside over DDR3. [Sep '14 CPUPro]

Moved to Intel from AMD... I use this chip for Adobe cc work. I am staggered by its performance. When it's coupled with a PCIe SSD it's a nuclear powered warp drive galactic mothership!—Oct '14

very power processor. can run number of vm in same time I play a game. but sometime, I would like have 2 more core inside. and limitation to 64 GB of memory is small. Regarding limitation of skylake CPU, this is the better. It can run a sli with 40 PCIe lane (not 16) a have PCIe SSD and M2 drive.

Its a very good cpu if you use it for graphics rendering and 3d modelling, like Maya or Max.

This processor run easily at 4.5 Ghz and is stable like a rock... I won't change this system for a good 3 to even 4 years...

 Frequently Asked Questions

 Best User Rated

Why does UserBenchmark have a bad reputation on reddit?
Marketers operate thousands of reddit accounts. Our benchmarks expose their spiel so they attack our reputation.
Why don’t PC brands endorse UserBenchmark?
Brands make boatloads on flagships like the 4090 and 14900KS. We help users get similar real-world performance for less money.
Why don’t youtubers promote UserBenchmark?
We don't pay youtubers, so they don't praise us. Moreover, our data obstructs youtubers who promote overpriced or inferior products.
Why does UserBenchmark have negative trustpilot reviews?
The 200+ trustpilot reviews are mostly written by virgin marketing accounts. Real users don't give a monkey's about big brands.
Why is UserBenchmark popular with users?
Instead of pursuing brands for sponsorship, we've spent 13 years publishing real-world data for users.
