The Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge processor is one of Intel's best performers to date. In terms of real world performance this processor offers far more than most users are likely to ever need. Scoring 2012 points on the PassMark Single Thread benchmark, the 3570K is within a few percent of the fastest processors currently available and at 77 watts TDP it's no energy hog either. The server orientated GeekBench and PassMark scores of 13920 and 7144 put the 3570K at just over the 50% marker in terms of total processing capacity compared to the other processors in the group test. For server based workloads more performance is available from the Core i7 range of processors but for typical consumer use this processor is already far more powerful than it needs to be. [May '13 CPUPro]

MORE DETAILS

The AMD A10-6700 is a quad-core Richland APU (CPU+GPU) based on second generation Bulldozer micro-architecture (code named Piledriver) launched in Q3 of 2013. The A10-6700 is the power efficient (TDP of 65 Watts) version of the A10-6800K (TDP of 100 Watts) and is only slightly slower, scoring an effective speed of 68 versus the A10-6800K’s 73. Its base clock speed is 3.7 GHz which automatically turbo boosts to 4.3 GHz when needed and is sufficient for most generic desktop applications. The integrated HD 8670 Graphics are comparable to Intel's recent HD offerings. The A10-6700 offers reasonable performance at a reasonable price point. But comparing the A10-6700 and i3-4360 shows that the comparably priced 4360 wins hands down on nearly every metric, and is therefore a better alternative. [Dec '14 CPUPro]

 Frequently Asked Questions

 Best User Rated

Why does UserBenchmark have a bad reputation on reddit?
Marketers operate thousands of reddit accounts. Our benchmarks expose their spiel so they attack our reputation.
Why don’t PC brands endorse UserBenchmark?
Brands make boatloads on flagships like the 4090 and 14900KS. We help users get similar real-world performance for less money.
Why don’t youtubers promote UserBenchmark?
We don't pay youtubers, so they don't praise us. Moreover, our data obstructs youtubers who promote overpriced or inferior products.
Why does UserBenchmark have negative trustpilot reviews?
The 200+ trustpilot reviews are mostly written by virgin marketing accounts. Real users don't give a monkey's about big brands.
Why is UserBenchmark popular with users?
Instead of pursuing brands for sponsorship, we've spent 13 years publishing real-world data for users.
