You need Dual Channel RAM config to fully utilize this CPU. You can get at least 10% performance increase up to 40% in some games, lessening the bottleneck.

Unfortunately, it does worse than 8th gen i5, but its still a worthy CPU, especially with the lower TDP (hopefully increasing battery life). May run into bottle necks for higher GPUs. Also it can't run 2666mhz RAM ;(

Beast laptop! Put 2x 8GB CL14 2400MHz RAM for bonus 10-15FPS in any game, also maxes your CPU potential. GTX 1650 can take 2GHz core clock and performs better than most desktop 1650's, do not OC VRAM - not well cooled and no benefit. CPU keeps 4GHz turbo under load even at 80*C, faster than a throttled 9300H. GPU never goes over 70-75*C at OC. One of my best runs: userbenchmark.com/UserRun/25353328

It may come as a surprise to some but I use my computer for gaming AND for work. That leaves team blue the odd man out.

This is a 4 core 8 thread processor, with a base speed of 3.1, and can go up to 4.1 per core. It is comparable to the i5-9300H, although slightly worse, and costs much less than the 9300H, while also having a lower TDP. It can bottleneck GPUs like the 1660-Ti or the 2060(mobile version), but by 14%, so it's not a huge bottleneck. Most games will only need 4 cores, and these four cores are more than good to run day to day tasks. It also comes with the Vega 10 iGPU, so if you're into very light gaming, without buying a dedicated GPU, this is way better than any similar specced Intel CPU.
