well considering the 10mb of L3, at a base clock of 3.6ghz and the quad memory channels totally beastly, only draw back is its a pcie 2.0 chip not a 3.0 chip. but the upgrade path is solid vs the 1155/1150 chipsets.

Bought this at launch and still have it. I've upgraded my graphics card twice in that time and this processor keeps on delivering so never saw the the need to upgrade the cpu. Maybe in another 3 years I will need to but for now...it's still great.
