It's 2021, and the old ACER with the C-50 may not be the fastest to handle web-based video, but so long as I can import it from another network machine and just use a player, it's doing its job, well beyond what I expected it to.

It is extremely sluggish, even running Linux Mint MATE on it feels super slow and laggy. Considering it is a low wattage CPU found on the cheapest laptops of the time, one can't expect any decent level of performance anyway, however its far from the worst low wattage CPU of its time.

Very, very slow performance overall. However, it's a 9 year old processor with a 9W envelope, and it kicks the tar out of any Atom of that generation in anything except more highly-threaded tasks.
