Average Bench: 91.3% (24th of 1206)

Based on 165 user benchmarks.  Device: BFEBFBFF000906EB Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-9350KF CPU @ 4.00GHz

The i3-9350KF is a 9th generation quad core Coffee Lake CPU which is designed to be used with a discrete graphics card. It has base/boost turbo frequencies of 4.0/4.6 GHz. The 9350KF generates less heat than its higher core "K" counterparts so getting a decent overclock without expensive cooling is relatively straightforward. Overclocking the 9350KF to 5 GHz with a $20 USD Gammaxx 400 cooler puts the 9350KF at similar single, dual and quad core performance levels as the 9600K, 9700K and 9900K SKUs. Consequently there is not much difference in fps between the 9350KF and any other CPU regardless of core count. At $180 USD the 9350KF sits amongst the top value gaming and desktop CPUs currently available. Comparing the 4 thread 9350KF to AMD’s twice as expensive 16 thread Ryzen 3700X shows that the 9350KF wins hands down in all five of today’s most popular games. The only other CPUs worth considering for unbeatable gaming performance are the 9600K or 9600KF which have 50% more, equally fast cores, for less than 10% more money.  [Nov '19 CPUPro]

way overrated on this site. it is okay for gaming, but not anywhere near the spot that it is on this site

Good

Performs nearly identical to the older i3-8350K but comes with 600 MHz boost clock over base clock (4.0 GHz) and 91W TDP. Without integrated graphics, this CPU performs better at overclocking.

My face when lowend 9350K beats all the new AMDs @ games. Good job Intel.

I get it, single core performance is vital in gaming, but a 4C/4T does not beat a 8C/16T and never will. Good room for OC though.

The refreshed i3-8350K went around, now coming with 4GHz base clock and 4.6GHz boost clock, this CPU has terrific single core and quad core performance for $155 ($173-$177 currently) which is excellent for users that need high single core performance or gamers looking for high refresh gaming at budget. The only thing this CPU lacks is iGPU (which however leads to better OC potential) and octa core to 64 core performance which falls behind the mainstream 6 core 6 thread i5-9400F which was sold for cheaper than i3-9350KF currently.

CrylicArk, you have no idea what you're talking about. This is TERRIBLE value for the money! Only 4 cores with NO hyperthreading in 2019?! Currently, you can get an 8 core/16 thread processor from AMD for less money and, despite its lower clock speeds, it will likely perform better in most modern games. Four cores just doesn't cut it these days.
