Skylake 6th generation Core i3 processor...

Decent processor. Certainly can handle most tasks you throw at it. It's older and lower end will cause some bottlenecking or hitches but what more would you expect from a 50-80 dollar almost 4 year old processor ya know?

Comment

This is one of the very best bang for the buck budget oriented CPU's yet, with a nice price point of $130 while performing similarly to an i5 4460! (And outperforming both the FX 8350 and FX 6350 in most CPU tests) Highly recommended for any new build, and it sure is going into my Black Friday build!!!—Nov '15

Good

It is expensive even 4 years after release and has lag in simple games like minecraft csgo and fortnite.

Poor

Press F to all i3-6100 owners. This is painful experience to have it.

Terrible

It definitely bottlenecks my GTX 970 some in modern games, but it's only the occasional dips down to the low 40's in some games, but a rock solid 60FPS+ is easily attainable at 1080p maxed out with 98% of games.

Excellent

preço excelente e já ajuda em muitos jogos não vale apena gastar tanto se esse e bom ate de mais

Poor

Dont know why people rate it low... for an entry level i3 it seriously hammers

Excellent

gets to windows 10 in 5 secs, opens up office 2013 programs before clicking on them, surfs the net at blazing speed, I don't play games, so I don't really get why I should ask (and pay) for more

great cpu with decent gaming and workstation

Good

Incredible value for the money. Amazingly good for gaming, fast for everyday use. If you're on a budget - it's THE CPU to get. (Well, maybe get the 7100 now...)

Good

Definitely a good choice if a desktop build. Both Windows and Linux run incredibly well. No idea about gaming or programming performance. You don't need more unless you are a professional or into serious gamigZ Using a MSI H170 mainboard, 16GB DDR4 and a GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 for desktop work, some video editing and photoshoping.

Excellent

Amazing for the price. I love it.

Poor

perfectly adequate cpu for light gaming (used daily from 2016 to 2018), but nowadays too expensive on the used market to be worth it, like all 6/7th gen cpus

Good

The best processor in my opinion for any budget gaming rig.

Poor

Outdated i3 budget CPU.

Terrible

low perfomance for that price

Terrible

it low for 4k

Good

was good value when released but now too overpriced

Excellent

Great little CPU that surpassed my expectations for two years before it finally couldn't keep up with my speed.

Very good

Excellent performance-per-dollar ratio. Holds up remarkably well against most any game at a fair price point.

Again I rated by accident. ._. Sorry!
