The Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge processor is one of Intel's best performers to date. In terms of real world performance this processor offers far more than most users are likely to ever need. Scoring 2012 points on the PassMark Single Thread benchmark, the 3570K is within a few percent of the fastest processors currently available and at 77 watts TDP it's no energy hog either. The server orientated GeekBench and PassMark scores of 13920 and 7144 put the 3570K at just over the 50% marker in terms of total processing capacity compared to the other processors in the group test. For server based workloads more performance is available from the Core i7 range of processors but for typical consumer use this processor is already far more powerful than it needs to be. [May '13 CPUPro]

Goood Processor. When overclocked able to hold up with newer i5s (like 6600K or 7600k).

Its my favorite processor to date. It's in my space desktop that I use for work use but I still prefer it over my I7-4790K

Been a good buy, bought it as they were being superseded so it was pretty cheap, mild overclock at 4.1GHz for the last couple of years. runs stable and cool on air.

Approx 15% better performance than the i5-2500K and the same price. Supersedes the core i5-2500k.

"The new Intel Core i5 3570K has everything that made its Core i5 2500K such a winning CPU. Per core performance is the best you can buy. It overclocks like there's no tomorrow and it's relatively affordable."

For the price and time frame, it was simply awesome. Showing it's age somewhat, but still solid.

+1 Because some person had it at a stable 5.4Ghz! I could not do that with my i7-7700k at stock with 87c, without a De-liding, and then probably not even possible, still! Yes we all have to agree, its the TIM. Its proven and fact! Just accept it!
