If you purchase a refurbished HP Z420 Workstation with E5-1620 you will have a great value CS:GO gaming platform. Even though 3,8GHz might sound slow nowadays, the E5-1620 offers hyperthreading + 10MB level 3 cache + 4 channel DDR3 @ 52GB/s + 40 PCIe lanes, which will make up for this. :-) If you should need SLI for other games, the HP Z420 gives you 2 * PCIe 3.0 x16 ( actually running x16 both of them ), and still leaving free PCIe lanes for your Intel Optane SSD ;-)

I havent tested the CPU properly yet, but so far this intel xeon 1620 0 is better than most other newer CPUes sounds cool
