With a good SSD to offset it's lower performance, I'm running Win 10 x32-bit on an old Lenovo netbook very happily. Linux just doesn't support low-spec hardware like this, especially now that Ubuntu has dropped x32 altogether, but Windows 10 still has x32-support and really, this n270 CPU does just fine for portable office tasks and music/video playback for me :)

It is an actually competent CPU, it really replaced my Epyc Processors for my Computing Grid. If I could only afford to put some Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430s to complement these badbois, but I guess finding a gpu able to compete with this is a real challenge
