The Core 2 Duo E6300 is a low end Core 2 Duo CPU released over than 10 years ago, it can deliver enough perfomance for office or web browsing, any way, if your board can run this CPU it also can the Pentium E6700 which is twice as powerfull and can be found for 4€ on sites like AliExpress. This CPU was shipped on many prebuilt systems back in the day and outperformed all the Pentium 4 lineup with half the power consuption.
