Based on 123,537 user benchmarks.  Devices: BFEBFBFF000906EC, BFEBFBFF000906ED Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz

The Intel i9-9900K is an 8 core, 16 thread, unlocked 9th generation Coffee Lake processor. It has a base / boost clocks of 3.6 / 4.7 GHz and a single-core boost of 5.0 GHz (the highest frequency achieved yet from this class of Intel CPU). It features 16 MB of cache, a 95W TDP and Intel UHD 630 graphics. The 9900K is compatible with the new Z390 chipset, and subject to a BIOS update, is also compatible with the older Z370 chipset. Aimed at users who do not wish to compromise, the i9-9900K offers the best gaming and desktop experience available at any price. Heavy workstation users should consider the Ryzen 9 3900X which is similarly priced. Comparing the overclocked 3900X shows that it is just 10% worse for gaming and desktop (sub octa-core) but around 40% better for 64-core computations. Gamers should consider the 9700K which offers identical overclocked gaming performance at a $100 USD discount. [Oct '18 CPUPro]

Waste of money compared to the 3700X

Excellent

Too Expensive, but it's the best at gaming.

Poor

Best for common user for high end cpu

Excellent

No doubt it is a good processor with extra overheat on overclocking to the range above 5.0 Ghz on all 8 cores. I would recommend to buy 8700k or 8086k which give higher quad core performance w.r.t this cpu as most pcs can only use upto 4 cores in 99% of the applications. Hence 8086k 8700k 9900k

Excellent

It shat on my face during a 69

Excellent

too expensive. outdated. 350W CPU

Terrible

Intel asks to much $ for this thing

Poor

That's a great CPU for a fair price I would say, but I'd rather get the i7 9700k instead. It is way cheaper for pretty much the same performance overall - for gaming, about editing the i9-9900k would be a better option since it has a higher boost clock & 16 threads instead of 8.

Terrible

intel is more expensive just becouse of the brand. Ryzen i much better becouse you get the same specs as i7 but for a more afordable price...

great performance for the price

Excellent

If i am understanding it right here I can compare between Processors, I know it would be lots of work, but It would be great if I can choose all the parts for two whole computers (Mother Board, Processor, memries, Video card... etc.), and then compare between the efficiency of them.

Excellent

it is better than every AMD cpu, I also own one so I am biased

Average

Uh... so, should this be combined with the other i9-9900K results??

Terrible

This thing has TERRIBLE value for money.

Excellent

best for gaming

Poor

This is only good for the most demanding games. Needs a hefty cooler to achieve it's maximum potential, and is not good for rendering and video editing as it has trouble multitasking. AMD processors however will offer more for less while maintaining good thermals.

Poor

Not worth the high premium. Get a 9700K or a 2700X instead.

Good

bruh

Poor

Fast but way to expensive!

Poor

Double the price of the 2700x for the same 8c/16t configuration but with each core performing ~20% better. Makes no sense for the average mid-high end user (go for a 9700k, 8700k or 2700x). Anyway, if I had to buy the BEST gaming PC possible, I would take the 9900k.

Not work the money, never was.

Terrible

When I actually test it is good gaming but not significantly in productivity

Excellent

Insanely powerful CPU that is a monster for gaming and streaming, plus unlike any CPU AMD has it can overclock all it's cores to 5.0GHz with a good cooler.

Poor

Overprice.

Excellent

Thunder !

Good

Runs far too hot even with custom water cooling Has to be de lidded or its unusable If Intel fixes the heat issue with smaller fabs then great until then I sent my 4 back

Excellent

Fast, faster, 9900K

Poor

It is way overpriced and you would be better off getting a 9700.

Absolute beast

Good

Terrible

full potential is only unlocked when you disable the 95w tdp and let it consume massive amounts of power while running very hot. Unless you have a high quality board for this chip, the advantages over the ryzen 7 2700x are very slight and not worth the price gap.
