Average Bench: 49.9% (794th of 1442)

Based on 18,312 user benchmarks.  Device: 178BFBFF00610F01 Model: AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

The A10-5800K features integrated Radeon 7660D graphics which are approximately 10% more powerful than the HD 4600 graphics found on several of Intel's Haswell CPUs. With its four cores the A10-5800K is able to handle multi-core workloads reasonably well but it is far less able to handle single and dual-core tasks. Comparing the i3-4130 and the A10-5800K shows that the i3-4130 is approximately 20% better at handling single and dual core workloads. Single core speed is by far the most important requirement for general desktop computing. Overall the A10-5800K provides an all in one solution with relatively strong integrated graphics but there are better performing alternatives available for the same money. [Mar '14 CPUPro]

For a 2012 cpu? Quite the workhorse. GTAV is playable (I had Black Ed.) with a 1050 TI gpu. Getting a GPU unlocks it's potential.

Comment

I built this A10-5800 to replace an old phenom 2 940, Ran this chip with nvidia 560 ti. Very little gain in performance and ran hot on water!? Went with Intel I5 3570k instead. night and day difference I could really feel and see. The a10 7800 series not much better than this either. Cores are too weak and run very hot. Stay away if you don't want to revisit mid 2000's in performance, power, And watt heat usage. —Oct '14

Exactly same performance wih older graphic card like the new I3-10100F. Almost unbelievable but true and tested.

okay for light workload but background usage is massive and cannot be decreased. also it is good for an entry level CPU but for gaming it can overperform only light work laptops. integrated graphics are debatably terrible so a GPU is needed if you want to load anything more than youtube.

Runs most of my games pretty well. Just a few games are laggy, but overall it works and runs pretty well, I've had no issues with this processor.

Got it for cheap and it's still usable for light gaming and office
