Haswell chips were WAY too power hungry, using more power than any other mobile Intel chip from the past 10 years.

Solid CPU for an older machine. I run a giant QHD Wacom device and Photoshop on a Dell e6440, no problem. It can even do basic video editing. (1.5 minutes processing per minute of 1080p video). A very affordable, surprisingly servicable daily driver.

I have 10 + yrs old laptop. Still, the processor doesn't disappoint me. A good companion for games with mid graphics setting supported by a 2 Gb graphics card
