A A multi-threaded, server orientated, processor benchmark test.
The PassMark CPU benchmark, like all processor benchmarks attempts to estimate how quickly a processor is able to perform a wide variety of calculations. The test issues as series of complex instructions to the processor and times how long the processor takes to complete the tasks. The faster the processor is able to complete the tasks, the higher the benchmark score. The PassMark CPU test is a multi-threaded test which means that it will run as many simultaneous tests as the processor is able to handle in parallel (number of cores), this characteristic makes Passmark a good measure of server orientated performance, where multiple cores are often simultaneously loaded.

The Best.
